Hyperlite murray pro 144 vs 150

Postby oenomaus » Tue May 04, 2021 8:41 am

Hey guys after some board advice.
I'm a beginner and have been riding an old 2014 Ronix Vault 139 cm. It's been a good board to cut my teeth on but I'm starting to find it's too small and heavy.
I'm 183 cm and 85 kg (6 ft and 187 lbs).
I've been eying up the 144 and 150 cm hyperlite murray pro boards but can't make a decision between the two.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

I’m the same height and weight, i bought a 144 Ronix one with closed toe ronix boots. I’m really happy with it.

I was on a 15 year old Connolly board when I went to this. The difference was amazing.

Thanks man. Do you think you'll ever size up to something like a 150 or are you happy with the 144?

Don’t think so. This board is so light and pops so easy it’s really no effort at all to ride. I think the close toe boots make a big difference too.

I've been on the lf classic for 7 or so years. I'd love to try both those boards as they seem to be the 2 that everyone talks about. I must admit the ronix prices have not made me look too closely...
Enjoy the ride. Any time on the water is good time!
