hydrofoil kneeboard!

Postby Gman » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:25 am

Hi, im thinking about building a hydrofoil kneeboard. I have only ever seen one in use and it looks like too much fun. I have a donor board and just need a foil. Does anyone have some in site on an appropriate foil length? Would one from an air chair have to be cut down a bit? Also, on a air chair the foil is underneath the majority of the riders weight, at the back. Would the foil have to be under my weight, or at the rear? What would be the best way to make it adjustable?

Many thanks, Gregg

It needs to be on your centre of gravity, then you can shim the rear wing to give you positive lift or negative lift.
I make and export wings and Tbars all over the world, but i think my stuff will be way to expensive for what you need.An old airchair or sky ski setup will do you nicely shortened up about 150mm
Go high or go home!!!!
If it aint broke dont fix it!!!
