Cheers mate! I dislocated my thumb and did a lot of damage to the joint on a wallride gone wrong (managed to bury the board between 2 sheets of HDPE at full cut 8O .) it was put back in place in ER and I spent 5 weeks in a cast only to find out it had popped out again & needed surgery. 13 weeks total in plaster meant I need 6 months recovery - physio etc. due to the injury, arthritis and atrophy in my hand. It's starting to look like a thumb again though so I'm pretty keen to hit the water!

Definitely get that hero out! I carry a cheap handycam with me sometimes we go out and just get whoever I can to point the camera so its very hit and miss but with the kids growing up so quickly it makes for great memories. The hardest part is finding time to edit.
Enjoy the ride. Any time on the water is good time!

Holy hell mate that’s crazy bad. I think I would go stir crazy sidelined for that long. Just one question though,????? What did it look like before it looked like a thumb again????

Need to get you guys up to sandy hook when your 100% for a weekend of fun. I tried to get some movement with everyone on here for a get together but that died pretty quickly. There’s amenities and camping if you’re into that. Be good to meet new people and have some fun.

That'd be awesome! I haven't been to Sandy Hook since early 2000's :). My thumb looked more like a claw than a thumb - kinda sticking out at an odd angle and gnarly due to the arthritis. It's much better now though! Did you guys get enough rain over the last 2 weeks?
Enjoy the ride. Any time on the water is good time!

Yeah we’ve had it good. Rivers nearly full with hardly any run off so it’s still crystal clean and no floating debris. We went out again at 6 this morning and had glass the whole time.
