Hey guys
Just found a 2014 xstar on boatsales for a reasonable price. But im pretty sure its the aus comp boat easily reconisable by the orange interior. What are your thoughts on buying an ex comp boat. Its only got 150hrs

I would not necessarily shy away. Being a comp boat doesn't mean it has been thrashed as like any boat it all depends on the owner.

Judge the boat on it merits.

it all comes back to how the owners looked after it, has it been serviced correctly? how much wear is on it?

150 hours on a 2014 boat is nothing then engine providing its been looked after should be good for two or three thousand hours. To give you a comparison I do 125hours a summer on my boat.
