+ 1 for the HEI dissy. I have this exact one on my boat but obviously for a Holden V8. They are a simple 2 wire hook up !!

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-PC6001-PROCO ... 20af6fbe44

The only thing I have against mine is that the battery needs to have 100% charge otherwise it won't supply the full 12v needed to run the unit on start up when it's cranking.

No idea mate as Ive never been there before. It sounds like there might be a fair old shindig happening though so that sounds good!! I booked 3 beaches and she said that was plenty for the 5-10 boats that i was hoping for.

Nuffinspecial- great you got the boat together and didnt have a bonfire!

I think i printed 7 stickers but can't remember exactly so guess the first 7 boats i see (might be a bit optimistic) i'll sticker you up if you like

Nevergrew, your gazebo will fit in picnic area 7 between the trees. From memory last time we had ours infront of the table right near the bank. There are a couple of tracks up the embankment.

Alas, that was the day we had massive winds come through & demolished it.

I have a new one now it is 4.26 square which I will bring. Better to have plenty of covering. Havent had this one out of the bag yet so could be fun putting it up.

There is a row of trees along the road, it sort of separates the road to the ramp from the picnic/camping area. We usually park nose in from the picnic area side.

See you all there in the morning. For us maybe 9 - 9.30, just depends when our 20mth old decides to wake, hopefully its not 5.30 like this morning.

Cheers

Yes thanks guys it was a fantastic day & great to meet everyone. We will have to do it more often.

Ty, I couldnt get that sound back at home on the house, but the belt for water pump is a bit loose so will tighten that. But also discovered that the prop shaft has a nice vibration, looked at the skeg bush & you can see the uneven wear. so going to pull shaft out & give to engineer mate to check it is straight. I will go get myself some skegbush next week from Cassells.

Agh the joys of boating.

Cheers

Brad.

Brad i found it only did it under load in the water so it may have something to do with the shaft. still a nice boat to board behind and drive thanks again for the board.

Yeah I think the sound we heard was different to the prop shaft issue, as I could hear it before we hit the gas.

Will pull out & check.

Thanks for the drive for the kneeboard.
