Amrok auto

Postby g-mantrix » Sat Jun 07, 2014 11:26 am

When I drove the auto, it seemed to rev so freely, like a 2 stroke bike revvy, I went for the auto Ranger, more torque
But sorry can't comment on towing

Whats so bad about your D40?

The new navara gets released this week, new cumming motor etc.

One of the guys at work had a amarok and got rid of it for a ranger and recons the rangers way better. The Amaroks are rated to 2800kgs so probably best to drive one and maybe your own decision about its performance.

The auto gives me the shits it doesn't seem hold the gears goin up hills which causes the dash to rattle ,also engine D rate issues , poor turning circle. However I would consider a new generation in a 550 be a good thing

I don't have any specific Amarok experience, but if you google on a few of the caravan forums they are having problems towing the large loads.
