This Parish Church has been the place of gathering for worship since 1861. We are a parish in the Anglo-catholic tradition and cherish beautiful worship offered to the glory of God as a preparation for taking Christ into the world and bringing the world to Christ in prayer.
The Eucharist is celebrated as the main act of worship on Sunday and throughout the week, using A Prayer Book for Australia. The Book of Common Prayer is used on the first and second Sundays of the month for Evensong. On the Third Sunday of the month Evening Prayer is in the style of the Taizé Community.
Full details of the weekly programme can be found under ‘Services’ on the ‘Liturgy’ drop down menu or via the ‘Services’ button below..
Our community of faith reflects the breadth and inclusiveness of the Christian Church. We welcome everyone to our services and to share in our life.
An important part of our Parish is Saint Raphael’s Church, Fern Tree, at the foot of Kunanyi, Mount Wellington. The Eucharist is celebrated each week in this beautiful Church constructed in 1894.
We look forward to welcoming you.
