howdy, we went there twice, the first time was in the Villas, the second was the Cabanas. I'd definitely go the Cabanas, closer to the site (a 2min walk) you have air con, a tv and bathroom all in the cabana, the villas weren't worth the money (in my opinion). the mansion is a fair distance from the site and you'll either have to hire a motorbike or get dropped off there.
have a great time! You get a great view from the Point of no return
when you're booking, ask for a cabana as close as possible to the cable though, because they are spread out a lot, and some of them are almost as far away as the villas.
The wood cabins look pretty good too, and some of them are close to the cable too.
wood cabins are the go we were in the cabanas first and the air con was no good and uncomfortable beds so we went to the wood cabins and didnt look back they dont have tv but really your not there to watch tv and ours werent that far from cable
we stayed in the containers.... i didnt mind it.... ac was good.... bed was decent enough.... has a seperate bathroom and tv.... ya only sleep in there.... we where over at the bar/restaurant or on the cable or in town.... have an arvo nap and asleep at night.... i spose if your going with your gf maybe something nicer.... the log cabins where only getting built wen we where over there.... this was about 3 years ago i spose
