First V drive Boat

Postby Colonelwake » Sun Dec 18, 2016 10:04 pm

Hi Guys
New here and first post looking for some info on our first inboard V drive boat buy,
We just sold our I/O and are in the market for wake/ski boat, We all do all little bit of everything, skiing and boarding and want to get into surfing as well, After countless hours searching the forums on here I'm still just as confused as ever,
We have come across a couple of boats we have narrowed it down to but as I live in Brisbane there doesn't seem to be many for sale near by and with a 4 hour drive for 2 of the boats a simple test drive isn't that simple,
Any info on the wakes they provide and pro's and cons of these boats would be appreciated,
I'd consider my self intermediate boarder and want something that will progress my riding as well.
2007 Lewis eclipse V Drive one owner Aus built approx 300 hours I'm assuming theres no meter. merc 5.7L tow sports
2006 Sanger V210 import 645 hours 350 mag mpi
2001 Centurion elite bow rider import no sure of hours. 350 mag mpi
All seem to be in fairly good condition but we all know how pictures work,
we have a budget of $32000 and we want bowrider as the kids love sitting up front, open to ideas on other boats that would suit us better?
Thanks for all the help in advance
