Now in its third year the Liquid Force Boardstock event, presented by Nautique Boats and powered by Monster Energy, really came of age in 2012 and reached its potential as the dominant wakeboarding event on the Australian calendar. Boasting a field of over 150 riders from countries all over the globe, including the USA, Korea, Thailand and Germany, the event offered something for all riders across its 4 different contest formats and invitational events. With the richest cash purse ever offered at an Australian wakeboarding event the standard of riding reached a level never before seen on these shores and few thought possible. King of Cable Tom Fooshee and young superstar Daniel Grant headed an international field that vied against Australias top pros for the I Ride Sideways Ultimate Rider Award.
